The 30th Anniversary Ceremony of Journal of Computer Science and Cybernetics
On the 8h30 morning of the 10th February 2015, the 30th Anniversary Ceremony of Journal of Computer Science and Cybernetics (JCC) has been solemnly held at the hall of the Institute of Information Technology, A3 Building, The Viet Nam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).
The Editor-in-Chief of JCC, Prof. D.Sc. Pham Thuong Cat and co-organizers of JCC have warmly welcomed the guests, including Prof. D.Sc. Nguyen Dinh Cong, Vice President of VAST, the representatives of the functional offices of VAST, the leader representatives of the Institutes / Centres of VAST, the Editor-in-Chiefs of the VAST Journals, the representatives of the Publisher of Natural Science and Technology, the members of JCC Editorial Boards during 30 years and the representatives participating in JCC papers’ reviewing in 2014.
Firstly, The Editor-in-Chief Pham Thuong Cat has summarized the 30 year process of formation and development of JCC bedecked full with remarkable events. Forwardly, the Ceremony was continued with the statement of the typical representatives, including Prof. D.Sc. Bach Hung Khang (JCC Editor-in-Chief from 1990 to 2003), Prof. D.Sc. Nguyen Dinh Cong (Vice President of the VAST), Mr. Tran Van Sac (Director of the Publisher of Natural Science and Technology), …
At the Ceremony, the JCC Editor-in-Chief Pham Thuong Cat, after receiving flourishingly congratulating bundles of flowers from representatives, has handled the gift-souvenirs to Prof. D.Sc. Phan Dinh Dieu (JCC Editor-in-Chief from 1985 to 1989), to Prof. D.Sc. Bach Hung Khang (JCC Editor-in-Chief from 1990 to 2003), and to Mr. Pham Quang Giam (Secretary of JCC from 1985 to 2003).
Afterwards a short-pause for relaxation, the Ceremony was continued with the significant reports of the VAST’s typical journals, including the Editor-in-Chief Prof. D.Sc. Nguyen Tu Cuong from the journal of Acta Mathematica Vietnamica, the Editor-in-Chief Prof. D.Sc. Nguyen Dong Anh from the Vietnam Journal of Mechanics (VJMech), …
In the discussion time, there were lots of heartedly opinions from representatives focusing on the aims how to improve the quality and the well-known not only of the Journal of Computer Science and Cybernetics (JCC) but also of other journals of VAST.
