Journal history

Academia Journal of Biology, ISSN (print) 2615-9023, ISSN (online) 2815-5920, abbreviated as AJB, is peer-reviewed for publication of quality articles on all aspects of biology. The Academy Journal of Biology was officially published in 1978 with the name Tap chi sinh hoc by the Publishing House Science and Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), No. 18 Hoang Quoc Viet street, Cau Giay district, Ha Noi, Vietnam; E-mail: tapchisinhhoc@vjs.ac.vn. Tap chi sinh hoc published four issues per year in Vietnamese with English abstracts from 1979 to 2017. Since 2018, Tap chi sinh hoc has published two types of editions per year: 2 issues have been published in Vietnamese with English abstracts under the traditional title Tap chi sinh hoc (ISSN 0866-7160) with English abstracts, and 2 issues have been published entirely in English under the title Academia Journal of Biology, ISSN (print) 2615-9023, ISSN (online) 2815-5920. As of April 2020, the issues that have been published in Vietnamese under the traditional title Tap chi sinh hoc (ISSN 0866-7160) will cease to be published in AJB.

The present time, Academia Journal of Biology has published 4 issues/year in full English, ISSN (print) 2615-9023, ISSN (online) 2815-5920 with Publisher Name (Publishing House Science and Technology, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, No. 18, Hoang Quoc Viet road, Cau Giay district, Ha Noi 10072, Vietnam; E-mail: tapchisinhhoc@vjs.ac.vn), and average number of research articles published from 53 to 55 articles/year and from 13 to 14 articles/per issue.
